Colossians 1:21-23

Because of Jesus’s sacrifice we now have freedom from sin through the death and resurrection of Christ with transformation into a relationship with the living God. If your sometimes having a hard time thinking of something to be thankful about, be thankful for this very thing. Because of Christ we will not face eternal judgment when we die. We were once alienated from God but because of his love for us we have been reconciled. It is essential that we stay studying God’s word, praying and fasting so that we will not be swept away by the different errors and teachings that we hear today. Stay praying for discernment and wisdom.

Psalm 1:1-3

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

The book of Psalms is a gift of God’s love and grace for human kind. I find purpose for my life and pull great strength from the scriptures in the book of Psalms. Jesus frequently quoted from this book and there are over a hundred quotations in the New Testament, taken from the book of Psalms. The birth, crucifixion, resurrection, and the second coming of Christ are all spoken of in Psalms.

On your journey of transformation to be more like Jesus, pour in more of God’s word and less of this world.

2 Timothy 1:7

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Everyone is searching for this inner power. Why are we searching if we already have it in us. The inner power is not us but it is the Holy Spirit. Call it what it is and use it in your life.

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This is your food, your bread and water. As situations and challenges occur keep this verse in the for front of your heart. Feed your on it as you pray and remember it in every situation, large and small. These two verses will bring you great peace and a joy that can only come from God.

Take these bible verses everywhere you go in your heart. Write them down on paper or put them in your phone, take them with you daily.
