Sometimes it can be difficult to find all those important key items in one recipe especially healthy and easy. Dinner is such an important meal of the day for many families. Eating around the dinner table is the time we get to come together as a family to relax and catch up on the days activities. Let’s get cooking on some Easy healthy dinner ideas the entire family will love to eat!
One-Pan Pasta
This recipe is soo good and super easy to make. I literally make this almost once a week. My family loves it and it’s very filling. I found this recipe on the Martha Stewart website.
With my schedule being super busy right now as many of us are I’m always looking for healthy recipes that are quick and easy. I modified the recipe slightly by adding fresh spinach which was such a great idea. Another great dinner idea I tried was adding ground turkey meat as a side topping, which was just delicious. Add some garlic bread and carrots, and dinner is complete. This dish is also great for lunch!

Directions- Time to get cooking!
- In a large skillet combine 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 2 teaspoons salt, sliced garlic and onions, red-pepper flakes, sliced tomatoes, box of pasta, and 41/2 cups of water. Than bring to a boil over high heat. Continue to boil ingredients, using a tong stirring mixture frequently. About 5 minutes into cooking gently add the bag of spinach. Gently toss and stir into mixture. Continue to cook about 4 to 5 minutes frequently turning and mixing ingredients.
2. Next season with salt and pepper and garnish with basil and additional oil. Add Parmesan cheese! As a additional topping you can add the taco ground beef or turkey meat .
This is one of my staple weekly meals it’s so easy and delicious. A tip for making the cooking process even faster is cutting your veggies for the week on Saturday or Sunday. What ever it is carrots, onions, tomatoes, garlic, green peppers what ever chopped ingredients get that done ahead of time. This is a time saver you will cherish!

These are your Delicious Ingredients
- Chicken Broth This is a great substitute instead of using white wine.
- Salt and Pepper To taste!
- Olive Oil This is used to cook your garlic, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. I prefer to use Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- Garlic Powder The more the better. Garlic is very healthy for you.
- Butter You can use salted or unsalted. I prefer salted and than I use less salt.
- Garlic Cloves Minced garlic is very healthy for you and gives a nutty taste to the cream sauce.
- Half and Half Adds a delicious sweetness to the creamy sauce, a great contrast to the garlic.
- Flour This will thicken the sauce.
- Sun dried tomatoes Yes! So yummy, this is why this dish is so delicious. The flavors just play so well together.
- Small Mushrooms The more the healthier. Mushrooms are full of antioxidants that help protect the body from cancer and heart disease.
- Fresh Baby Spinach Fresh or frozen is perfect. Thaw frozen spinach before use.
- Linguine I always break in half for easier cooking and eating.
- Grated Parmesan Cheese It’s definitely a taste difference if you have the time to cut it yourself.
- Boneless Chicken Breasts The healthiest way to cook your chicken is to bake it in a pan on 350 until brown.
- 2 cups of Chicken Broth
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1/2 garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of half and half
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 sun dried tomatoes
- 4 ounce of small mushrooms
- 2 cups of fresh baby spinach
- 8 ounces of linguine broken in half
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound of boneless chicken breasts
Instructions- It’s time to create this tasty dinner idea!
2. Next your going to add your garlic powder, half and half, chicken broth, salt, pepper than mix together. Than add the good stuff…your linguine and bring to a delicious simmer. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until pasta is nice and dente.
3. It’s almost time to dig in! Your going to turn off your stove and gently add your spinach and Parmesan cheese stirring in your spinach until it starts to wilt. You did it!! It’s time to serve and eat.
