When there is a reason for fear we must seek inspiration and faith from the teaching of God. The bible is the history of God’s inspiration and faith teachings from the beginning of the world until the end. Seeking God’s word in the beginning will not come naturally or easy but it is a choice. This will not be what is commonly taught or done in most circles. But this supernatural wisdom that will only come from God and his teachings will sustain us through all the unexpected darkness that is to come until Jesus return.
We have to remember and constantly remind ourselves that Jesus’s word is enough. Just like Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well, when she drinks his water she will never thirst. The same goes for us, God’s word will never leave us hungry or thirsty. Don’t stay stuck, your faith will conquer your fear.
John 4: 13-14 Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again. Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst—not ever. The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.”
Pray for endurance through this time and what’s to come. The holy spirit will give you the power to endure great obstacles and suffering just like he did with the disciples. When Jesus was captured and was being questioned by the religious leaders the disciples hid and couldn’t be found. They were scared and Peter, one of the disciples denied he knew Jesus three times. The disciples bold confidence in spreading the word of God and healing people, didn’t come until the holy spirit came upon them.
Acts 2:1-13 New King James Version (NKJV)
Coming of the Holy Spirit
2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Jesus said he would leave all believers with a great gift when he went back to the Kingdom of God. Before Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sin.
Jesus Promises Another Helper
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
The Gift of His Peace
25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

BIBLE VERSES FOR PEACE AND FOCUS:
Trust and wait for what is still unseen.
(Roman 8:24)
This applies to people, situations, decisions, diagnoses.
Be still and wait for God to reveal himself in any situation. Many times we move to fast and judge the situation before God is finish.
God promises to make something good out of the storms that bring devastation to your life. (Roman 8:28)
Omg….this is just the truth!! I am definitely a witness of this in my own life. When we stay steadfast in Jesus and take everything to God in prayer. Which I know is easier said than done. But the more you operate in this posture you will see supernatural results. Pray for God to give you peace and focus on what he wants you to concentrate on during the journey or situation. The holy spirit will play a big part during this time, giving you power to smile and push on when you are lost and devastated.
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives for ever. (1 John 2:17)
During this Coronavirus (COVID-19) time I feel God is making his presence known. The bible says pestilences would come during the last days. Pestilences- a contagious or infectious epidemic disease that is virulent and devastating. Is that not the coronavirus, yes of course it is, and God said it would happen over 2,000 years ago. Friends our hope and peace will not come from any doctor or government official, it will come from God when he is ready. This pandemic has unfortunately almost spread world wide, although a surprise to many this was not a surprise to God. If you are reading God’s word and listening to what he is showing you, you knew this was a great possibility in your life time. Just looking at the news points in that direction. But take victory in knowing you were created for this very moment and God has given you everything you need to endure this time.
Matthew 24:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
This last verse gives me so much peace and just inspires me to smile through whatever junk or turmoil I may be going through. I know if nothing else this trouble will give me opportunity to show people who God is with my actions and behavior. I think this is even more important among your immediate family. Especially with your kids or family members who are not believers. It’s so easy to be Christ like when everything is going well, but but the true test is when you go thru the storm.
When troubles come your way consider it an opportunity for great joy. (James 1:2)
Opportunities from God will come from good and bad situations. It’s all a part of the journey, God never promised believers life would be happy and joyful everyday. The Bible actually says followers of Jesus will have persecution and suffering for our faith. The Bible regards our suffering as normal. Some of our suffering comes from the fact that we live in a fallen world, and this kind of suffering falls on non- Christians and Christians . Paul was very clear in saying everyone who follows Jesus will suffer. (2 Tim. 3:12, ESV). This is very real for most Christians around the world and we are seeing this come true in the United States for people following the Christian lifestyle.
Success through the storm is about how you see your situation. When going through challenging situations living in the spirit is how I get through it. And every time I have been able to find joy, opportunity, strength and peace doing and after the storm. Staying grounded in God’s word, praying about the situation and even fasting can bring you supernatural power and clarity. Be honest in your prayer, remembering when your weak God is strong and he shows up in our weakness. Ask God what your suppose to learn on this journey. And most important, know who you are in Christ, know for yourself. Be unshakable in your power, not in yourself but in God. Commit to knowing God and having a relationship with him. This relationship will serve you well .
God Bless, you all are in my prayers.
